Dome closure

We regret to inform you that the Dome at Concordia University, Loyola Campus is officially closed for the season. This decision has been made due to excessive snow, ice, and wind, which have caused damage to the structure that cannot be repaired during the winter months.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we prioritize safety and structural integrity.

From November to April, Concordia University's Loyola Campus south field is transformed into the Stinger Dome, covered by an air-supported structure. The facility hosts intramural and recreational sports, camps, tournaments and more.

Activities and features

Many sports and recreational activities take place at the Stinger Dome, including:

The Stinger Dome measures 137m x 76m (450 feet x 240 feet), allowing for a configuration of four mini-fields. A 1/4 size field or 'mini-field' measures 30m x 55m and is ideal for 6 or 7 aside sports such as soccer, ultimate, rugby, & touch/flag football.

Rentals

Please email recrental@concordia.ca. A representative will be able to assist with availabilities, rates and related information.
Renting a venue: a contract is sent online and payments are processed online using Visa, MasterCard, or Amex.
We require a 50% deposit of the full amount at the issuance of contract.
Full payment is required before the first session.
It is the lessees responsibility to respect the public health guidelines for their recreational activities
