English literature
Develop your skills in critical thinking, rhetorical analysis, and writing. The undergraduate degree can additionally be combined with History or Creative Writing.
Creative writing
This is a competitive program because written communication and storytelling are central to all cultural industries, including internet publishing, gaming, advertising, editing, teaching, and entertainment.
Professional writing minor
Professional writers understand a broad range of readers and know the best ways to communicate information to them in written, visual, digital, and oral media. Enrolled students in any field can add a minor to their degree.
For students in other programs
Composition courses
Individual courses that can be taken by enrolled students in any field. Your courses are determined by the results of your placement test administered by the department.
