Anna-Beth Doyle, PhD

My primary research interest is family influences on social and emotional development and adjustment across adolescence, with specific focus on the role of parenting behaviour and adolescent attachment security. In our most recent project, 200 adolescents were followed longitudinally for six years from beginning high school to junior college, completing questionnaires yearly, interviews and a laboratory discussion with a friend or romantic partner. This research was funded by SSHRC.
