Biography

Gail Fayerman has her MBA and CPA from McGill University. Her primary interests are in the area of financial accounting and reporting. Prof. Fayerman was the Director of the Graduate Diploma in Accountancy for nine years and in that capacity she was actively involved in the Chartered Accountancy profession, participating in the Comité du Formation of l’Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec. She has also been active in providing advise on education for the Canadian insolvency and Restructuring Profession (CIRP)

and in 2023 was awarded an honorary CIRP designation.  She is also actively involved in not-for-profit organizations.  She consults small and medium size accounting firms on financial statement reporting.
