Biography

Joseph Armanious CPA, LL.M. Fisc., has been practicing in taxation since 2001, and has been a lecturer in taxation both at McGill University and the John Molson School of business since 2007. Mr. Armanious is also a tutorial series facilitator for the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program.

Mr. Armanious deals with matters related to corporate tax, corporate reorganizations, trusts and estate planning, as well as international tax. He obtained a Master of Laws (taxation option) from HEC Montréal and the University of Montréal, where he won the Canadian Tax Foundation's Jean Potvin Award for the best Quebec paper dealing with an aspect of Canadian taxation.

Mr. Armanious was the recipient of the 2017 Distinguished Teaching Award at McGill University, the SCS Department.

He was also the recipient of the Jeff K. Jutzi Award as a tutorial series facilitator in the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program.
