Biography

Marie-Christine Simard is aMontreal-based artist and award-winning teacher. Her work deals withnotions of place and the everyday, and has been presented in numerousgroup shows across Canada. She has recently worked on a collaborativeproject with Christine Major, which involves photography, woodburning and site-specific installation. Her current work, Leshauts-fonds, is a sketchbook of observations of precariouslandscapes, and has been published in BlackFlash.
