Biography

Natalie Nadeau is a Montreal-based multidisciplinary artist and educator. Her education includes an MFA specializing in sculpture from Concordia University(2017), a Mechanical Technician-CAD/CAM Diploma from St. Clair College (2014), and a BFA from the University of Windsor (2013). Her practice centers on creating installations that touch on themes relating to domesticity and industrialization. Her work deals with metal fabrication, bronze and aluminum foundry processes, handmade labour and aesthetics, appropriations of domestic space and the metamorphic nature of sculpture materials and processes. 


She has exhibited, attended residencies, internships and teaching assistantships in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany. Most recently, these include the For Hire Exhibition through ArtSpeak Gallery (Windsor), North Lands CreativeAiR program (Scotland), Corning Museum of Glass Summer Workshop Series (NY),and the Bild-Werk Frauenau International Summer Academy (GER).
