Understanding the Lived Experiences of
Mothers Who Voluntarily Choose to Live
Apart From Their Children
I am a sociologist lookingto speak with mothers who voluntarily elected to stop living with their minor children, and who are willing to participate in a confidential and non-judgmental interview about their experiences.If this topic relates to you and you wish to contribute to this research,please consider participating in my study. Participants need to have voluntarily stopped living with their children at least one year ago and need to have triedliving with their child(ren) for a time prior to acting on this decision.
Participation will entail 1 or 2 confidential interviews, in English, lasting approximately 1.5-2 hours. For more information about the study and/or to participate, please email Shelley Z. Reuter,Professor of Sociology, at shelley.reuter@concordia.ca.
