Mission/mandate/about the organisation:
Ada X is a bilingual feminist artist-run center for media arts and digital culture. The center supports women, trans, non-binary and queer artists in the production and dissemination of their work, and regularly collaborates with schools, libraries, and community centers to develop activities for young publics.Since 1996, Ada X has been a reference point for critically engaged and exploratory media arts practices.
Ada X hosts residencies, workshops, discussions, exhibitions, performances and educational activities.
Context of the internship
The intership will be tailored to the intern's interests and the center's needs. Ada X seeks students who are interested in gaining experience in non-profit arts communications, social media management, web archiving, community engagement, programming, and art administration. Internship responsibilities may encompass social media promotion, HTMlles festival coordination, events hosting, and web archiving.
