Digital Image Repository

Our databank of images currently holds over 30,000 high resolution digital images that can be downloaded and used for educational and research purposes. The repository is accessible online, and users can log in with their netname and password.

Photographic Teaching Collection

The principal purpose of the Photographic Teaching Collection is to provide course instructors with a pool of objects that they can bring into the classroom for their students to view and manipulate.

Sourced by donation from the wider community, items in the collection provide a cross-section of photographic history by representing various processes, formats, cameras and viewing devices. It is also possible for students to make an appointment at the VCR to consult an object onsite.
