Biography

Eliza Griffithsis a painter whose work explores psycho-socio-sexual themes using acast of invented characters.  Her graduate studies in art theory and art history atCarleton University focused on artist-run culture and feministissues in art. Her paintings and installations have been widelyexhibited in both public and private galleries across Canada, as wellin the U.S., Europe and the U.K. Selected solo shows includeHallwalls Contemporary Art Center in Buffalo, New York; Mercer Union,Toronto; and the Saidye Bronfman Centre for the Arts, Montreal.
