Biography

Prof. Kelly Meek joined Concordia University in 2024 as the Gina Cody Research Chair and Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering. She was previously an assistant professor at University of Ottawa, and obtained her PhD from Texas A&M University. Her research focuses on polymers to advance sustainability, i.e., polymer electrolytes and ionomers for electrochemical energy (fuel cells, electrolysis, batteries), and biobased and/or biodegradable plastics and nanocomposites.
