When will the Mitacs Globalink Research Award funds be available to me?

After Mitacs releases the intern's GRA award funds, Concordia University will initiate a process to transfer the funds -in stipend- to the intern's bank account. Interns will need to provide their banking information to complete the operation. Once this information is received, Concordia International will ask for the Concordia supervisor’s authorization and request Payroll to deposit the funds to the intern's bank account. Please note that the fund will only be transferred to the Mitacs Globalink Research Award intern after:

1. The Mitacs pre-departure and ethic forms are received by Mitacs. 

2. Mitacs has transferred the funds to Concordia and Concordia's Financial Department opens an account in the name of the Concordia supervisor (it takes a couple of weeks after completing step 1).

3. The information for the cheque requisition is completed and signed by the Concordia supervisor

4. The Globalink Research Award intern has initiated his/her trip.
