Tuesday, March 4, 1 – 3 p.m., 4th Space
Interdisciplinary teams are crucial for creating responsible and effective AI systems. Join industry professionals as they discuss how students from diverse academic backgrounds can contribute to and build careers in AI-related fields. The session will be followed by a Q&A period.

AI in action: Insights from the workforce

Wednesday, March 12, 3 – 5 p.m., H-769 & 771
Recent graduates and young professionals will share their experiences of how AI is shaping their careers. Learn how AI tools are being integrated into workplaces across industries and what skills you can develop to stay ahead.

This panel discussion will be followed by an opportunity to network with the presenters!

What’s in a prompt?

Thursday, March 20, 2 – 3:30 p.m., LB-205
Learn the art of prompt engineering through hands-on activities! You'll discover how these tools can enhance your academic, professional and personal life.

In this workshop, you'll work with text-generating AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity, as well as image generators such as DALL-E 3 image generator via Microsoft Copilot.
