Following his BA in Economics, Adel Haddadin obtained an MBA from IE Business School, Madrid, Spain. He pursued a career in investment banking and capital markets, with over 16 years international experience in Europe, Canada and the Middle East. Adel was employed by Manulife Investment Management, Standard Chartered Bank, Union Bank and EY.
In 2012, he founded Midas Advisory, a boutique corporate advisory and management consulting business, specialized in private placements for mid-market businesses (EBITDA $10 - $100 million) and post seed stage technology start-ups (EV $10 - $50 million).
Adel also founded Medallion Holdings during the same year. Medallion Holdings is a wholesale trading company, specialized in supplying forestry-by products (specifically paper, paperboard and tissues) and packaging grade plastics to convertors / manufacturers in the printing and packaging industries. The Canadian arm recently received a Medical Device Establishment License (MDEL) from Health Canada to import medical devices for the corporate, public and education sectors to help tackle the pandemic.
