October 29, 2024, Concordia’s 4th Space hosted a special event co-sponsored by the CSLP along with the Canadian Practitioners Network for the Prevention of Extremist Violence (CPN-PREV) and the Indigenous Healing Knowledges Concordia Research Chair, that brought together  Catherine kineweskwêw Richardson (School of Community and Public Affairs, Concordia) and Ghayda Hassan (Département de psychologie, UQAM) to discuss dignity in violence prevention. The conversation was adeptly moderated by CSLP manager Zeina Ismail-Allouche. The event, It is the violence not pathology that is the problem! A conversation with Catherine Richardson and Ghayda Hassan on dignity in violence prevention, was the first event in the second year of the Unveiling Equity series.

The event was livestreamed through the 4th Space’s YouTube channel and the video has been archived there.

Le 29 octobre 2024, l’Espace 4 de Concordia a accueilli un événement spécial coparrainé par le CEAP, le Canadian Practitioners Network for the Prevention of Extremist Violence (CPN-PREV) et l'Indigenous Healing Knowledges Concordia Research Chair, qui a réuni Catherine kineweskwêw Richardson (School of Community and Public Affairs, Concordia) et Ghayda Hassan (Département de psychologie, UQAM) pour discuter de la dignité dans le cadre de la prévention de la violence. La conversation a été habilement modérée par Zeina Ismail-Allouche, responsable du CEAP. L'événement, C'est la violence et non la pathologie qui est le problème ! Une conversation avec Catherine Richardson et Ghayda Hassan sur la dignité dans la prévention de la violence [It is the violence not pathology that is the problem! A conversation with Catherine Richardson and Ghayda Hassan on dignity in violence prevention], était le premier événement de la deuxième année de la série Unveiling Equity.
