NEOMA Business School Summer Program

About the program

Cross Cultural Management-Intercultural Communication:

The purpose of this program is to expose the students to core frameworks on culture, their critics and how they translate to different national cultures. It also focuses on corporate culture and how different cultures impact on different management practices like negotiation and handling organzation change.

Luxury Marketing:

The program attempts to define luxury, the key actors, the tension between Luxury and Marketing. The course is structured around the 4Ps of Marketing: Product, Price, Promo (as in communication) and Place (as in distribution).

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible to participate in the NEOMA Business School Summer Program you must meet the following criteria.

  • Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in JMSB.
  • Have a minimum 2.7 cumulative GPA (CGPA).
  • Completed at a minimum of 24 credits toward your current degree program by the time you leave for the program.
  • Meet the eligibility requirements for Short-term study abroad programs outlined within the John Molson Visiting & Exchange website.
  • Must complete prerequisite courses prior to departure.

Program dates

Cross Cultural Management: July 7-July 11 2025

Luxury Marketing: July 21- July 25 2025

Program courses

Permission to take courses is granted by John Molson.  Courses taken without John Molson’s approval will not be transferred to Concordia. All courses taken abroad must pertain to a student’s degree program requirements. 

Students must take one of the courses, as outlined below: 

  • Cross Cultural Management Intercultural Communication= IBUS 492
  • Luxury Marketing= MARK B

Estimated cost & bursary

Host institution program fee administrative fees to be paid to NEOMA. These fees include

Concordia tuition: 3 credits of Concordia tuition to be paid to Concordia University. Get an estimate of tuition fees.

Additional expenses: Students are responsible for paying for their own accommodations, transportation costs to/from France, health insurance coverage, meals, and the costs of any immigration document.

Quebec Mobility Bursary

To help with the costs of going abroad, Concordia offers a $1,425 CAD Quebec Mobility Bursary to students.

To qualify, you must be a Concordia student enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree program and approved to participate in the summer school program. 

Important to note: 

  • Summer school program applicants do not need to submit a bursary application as it is part of the on-line summer school program application, and you will automatically be considered for the Quebec Mobility Bursary.
  • Approved students will receive the bursary payment upon arrival and reception of the mandatory Confirmation of Arrival form.
  • Details on the payment of the bursary will be sent to successful applicants.

Accommodations

For summer 2025, the program will take place at the Paris campus.  Students are free to choose their own accommodation.
