The "wet" lab, where the brains are processed for histological analysis.
One of the three operant behavior testing systems, where rats are trained to press a lever to receive a reward. Rewards can be drug, food, or sweet solutions.
The activity monitoring system. We use it to study the effects of different substances and environmental manipulations on the motor activity of the rats.
The digital stereotaxic instrument. It is used for precise brain surgeries.
And in the end... We use the microtome to make thin slices of rats' brain that can later be examined under the microscope.
