Program Objectives

The Faculty of Arts and Science Principles of Education (Section 31.001 Faculty of Arts and Science) reinforce the value of broadening students' skills and experience beyond the boundaries of a single disciplinary program. Interdisciplinary courses are designed to illuminate principles, methods, and skills that cross disciplinary boundaries and expand the range of students’ academic training. Interdisciplinary Elective Groups enable students to complement their core program in innovative ways.
