Economics undergraduate advising
Current and prospective students have access to email, in-person or online advising:
- Book an appointment (online or in-person).
- Email your question(s) at econ.advising@concordia.ca
- Book an appointment (online or in-person) with the Undergraduate Program Director for questions about Honours and graduate studies.
Appointments are limited to one per student due to high demand. If you can no longer honour your appointment, please email econ.advising@concordia.ca to cancel it, or click on the 'Reschedule' button in the confirmation email.
Advising is helpful for the following:
- Information about Economics programs, including transferring from one concentration (Major, Specialization, Honours) to the next in the BA Economics
- Economics (ECON) course selection
- Managing Economics course workload
- Information about the student request process for active Economics students
Economics advising cannot assist with the following:
- Transferring to JMSB or to another program
- Enrolling students into courses (please refer to the Registration guide)
- Selecting non-ECON classes (this elective list might help)
- Giving information about immigration or work permits for international students (please refer to the International Student Office) or about non-academic services at Concordia (Student Success Centre, student ID, tuition & fees, etc.)
Before meeting for advising
- Prepare your question(s)
- Have your Student ID, course schedule and your unofficial student transcript ready
- Be ready to take notes!
