Centre for Sensory Studies
The Centre for Sensory Studies promotes research in the history and social life of the senses, sensori-legal studies, sensory marketing, multisensory aesthetics and the development of technologies for extending the sensorium in innovative ways. The Centre was founded in 2012. It is co-directed by David Howes (Sociology and Anthropology) and Florian Grond (Design and Computation Arts) .
