Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) ensures a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible campus at Concordia. The EHS team identifies risks and emerging issues, and develops practical, sustainable solutions, including inspections and training.

Environmental Health and Safety is dedicated to helping the Concordia community work safely and responsibly across both the Loyola and Sir George Williams campuses. Services include safety and laboratory programs, training, hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal, injury and near-miss reporting and more.

Safety Ambassador Awards

Environmental Health and Safety has long recognized and promoted safe practices at Concordia. Every two years, the Safety Ambassador Awards celebrates initiatives that improve, inspire and uphold best practices in health and safety.

Award recipients are members of the Concordia community who have made significant contributions, overcome challenges and positively impacted safety on campus.
