Learning Centre
Learning Centre and Lending Library
The SdBI’s Learning Centre provides quiet study space, workstations and group study rooms, available for all members of the SdBI community and students from across the university.
We have an impressive collection of over 2,000 books, available for use as references and to borrow through our internal lending system.
Hours (Fall and Winter semesters)
- Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
- Fridays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The Learning Centre is closed during the Summer semester
Learning Support
Students can drop in for peer-based support with our volunteers or schedule to meet with a staff member for learning support during designated hours.
We can help you with library research, study skills and direct you to services provided by the Student Success Center.
To make an appointment online or in-person with our Learning Centre staff, please contact Isabelle Lamoureux.
Our collection
The SdBI lending library houses primarily non-fiction works and feminist periodicals from the early 1970s onward.
Our collection is stored and managed separately from the Concordia Library.
Our staff and volunteers are available to assist you with borrowing books from our collection.
