The Simone de Beauvoir Institute offers different scholarships and awards for students in both the Women's Studies and Interdisciplinary Studies in Sexuality programs.
SdBI scholarships & awards

- For full-time or part-time students
- Open to Canadian citizens or permanent residents
- Requires current enrollment in SdBI and enrollment in a course of study leading to a BA in Women’s Studies
- Applications include demonstrated commitment to feminist and/or social justice activism
- For undergraduate and graduate students
- Open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or international students
- Requires a minimum GPA of 3.30 and must have completed at least one year of study at Concordia University
- Applications include demonstrated academic work in gay and lesbian studies, or activist involvement in gay and lesbian issues
- For full-time or part-time students
- Open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or international students
- Must be considered as a continuing students in financial need
- Assessment based on acceptable academic standing with a minimum GPA of at least 2.0
- Exclusive to full-time students
- Open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or international students
- Requires entry in any Concordia Faculty for full-time undergraduate study; BIPOC students as well as those belonging to other groups underrepresented at the University are prioritized and welcome to self-identity
- Assessment based on demonstrated ongoing commitment to LGBTQ12+ activism or community involvement
- For full-time or part-time students
- Open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or international students
- Requires completion of at least 30 credits, including WSDB 290, 291 and 292
- Assessment based on cumulative GPA, and GPA in WSDB courses
- For full-time students in the Faculty of Arts & Science or John Molson School of Business
- Open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or international students
- Requires a minimum GPA of 3.30

- Assessment based on cumulative GPA or "cote R" at entrance
- Exclusively for full-time students in the 2nd year or higher
- Open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or international students
- Requires completion of at least 30 credits, including WSDB 290, 291 and 292
- Assessment based on cumulative GPA, and GPA in WSDB courses
- Exclusively for full-time fourth-year students
- Open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or international students
- Requires completion of at least 84 credits, including WSDB 290, 291 and 292
- Assessment based on cumulative GPA for WSDB courses and overall GPA
- Exclusive to full-time students
- Open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or international students
- Assessment based on cumulative GPA (minimum of 3.3)
- Exclusive to full-time graduating students

- Assessment based on cumulative GPA at graduation, and contributions to the life of the Institute/community is also considered

Other scholarships & awards
The Phyllis Harris Scholarship is awarded bi-annually to help support students who are community leaders in sexual health and rights. Valued at $4500, the Phyllis Harris Scholarship Fund provides one scholarship to a student with experience working or volunteering in the general field of human sexuality, and who intends to pursue a related career in the future.
