Student association (WSSSA)
WSSSA members are active representatives of Concordia University's Women's Studies and Sexuality Studies programs.
WSSSA supports the following
- interdisciplinary scholarship
- local activism
- creative endeavours
These highlight social injustices pertinent to
- gender
- sexuality
- location
- class
- race
- ability
Its mandate includes
- maintaining an equality model in its academic environment
- engaging its constituency in campus life
- working with local groups (both student and otherwise).
WSSSA publishes a literary journal entitled Subversions, which is fuelled by the minds and talents of its student body. This yearly publication includes critical texts, essays, creative writing, photography, artwork and illustrations.
