Guidelines
- Employer accounts must be created with a company email and company website. Your contact information will be kept confidential and will not appear in your post.
- Job postings must be related to university studies. We do not accept positions such as: waiters, housekeepers, bartenders, babysitters, cashiers, etc.
- Posts will be active for one month unless you request an earlier deadline. Postings can always be renewed.
- Placement agencies/third party recruiters must provide us with the name of their client. The name of the client will be kept confidential.
What you need to know
- Positions must offer monetary compensation — no unpaid internships, barters (trading services without exchange of compensation), deferred pay, unpaid trainings, commission-only positions, etc.
- CAPS does not accept commission-only positions, business opportunities, multilevel and referral marketing, positions required upfront fees, or jobs that involve any illegal activity.
- Employers are responsible for compliance with applicable federal and provincial employment laws, including employment equity and discrimination laws.
- Positions posted at CAPS must comply with the Labour Standards as defined by the Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail.
- CAPS reserves the right to refuse any job posting or employer attempting to post a position on our website for any reason. Acceptance or approval of any job posting or employer is completely at the discretion of CAPS.
