Showing your Concordia ID will get you discounts on tons of stuff around town.

Loads of discounts means savings for you

There are tons of discounts you can take advantage of if you have a valid student ID. You just have to know where to look.  Although it’s nearly impossible to list them all because there are so many, here are a few. Just grab your student ID and save!

Culture and entertainment

  • Get preferred rates at the Biodôme, Planetarium Rio Tinto Alcan, Insectarium, Montreal Botanical Gardens and La Grande Roue de Montréal in the Old Port.
  • Enjoy special rates and free access at museums around the city, including:
    • Montreal Museum of Fine Arts — the permanent collection is also free on the first Sunday of every month
    • Pointe-à-Callière Museum
    • Montreal Holocaust Museum
    • McCord Museum — free every Wednesday evening and the first Sunday of every month
    • Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal — free for Quebec residents on the first Sunday of every month, and half-price on Wednesday evenings from 5 to 9 p.m.
  • Concordia students can also enjoy a 25% discount on a regular admission ticket at the Cinema Beaubien, Cinema du Parc and Cinema du Musée.

Food, restaurants and groceries

  • Save 15% off your purchase on Wednesdays at Bulk Barn.
  • Metro, Maxi, Super C, IGA and Supermarché PA offer students 10% on student discount days at participating locations — but there are some conditions to keep in mind.
  • Get 10% off at Dairy Queen, M4 Burritos and Copper Branch.
  • Save 10% on bread and desserts at most Au Pain Doré bakery locations.

Transportation

  • Via Rail Canada offers reduced train fare pricing on all travel if you are between 16 to 25 years old.
  • Students can save 15% with Orléans Express.

Technology

  • Current Concordia students, who have activated their Concordia student email account can download the Office 365 ProPlus Suite, which includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. They also have access to Microsoft 365 Education, a collection of services that allows you to collaborate and share your schoolwork.
  • Students who need it as part of their registered courses, as determined by their faculty or department, also have access to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
  • Free Amazon Prime for six months, unlimited photo storage with Prime Photos and a free three-month trial with Audible.
  • Many tech companies offer students discounts on their software and hardware. Check out student prices and offers especially during the back-to-school period on computers and accessories.
